* face to face delivery
* reflective learning activities
* individual coaching
* action learning projects
* readings
* internal and external guest lecturers.
All participants underwent training in Clinical Process Improvement methodology and undertook a work based improvement project. These projects were the cornerstone of learning as it required the participants to:
* negotiate priority projects with their line managers
* co-opt a team to undertake the project
* coordinate the project and instil knowledge about the process
* report back both business improvements but more importantly personal learning’s as a result.
To supplement the program a series of short sessions were delivered on site to all facilities to maximise the exposure of all staff to the concepts being targeted.
Outcome
Pre and post test evaluations were conducted as well as satisfaction assessments. The program was well evaluated as targeting specific needs, challenging participants to review their practice and improved business outcomes as a result of the projects undertaken.
