Organisational Review and Development

Communio has a long track record of working with organisations to review their organisational structures, processes and performance. Communio assists the organisation to identify and implement improvements with a focus on clinical and corporate governance, efficiency, effectiveness, safety and appropriateness.

Effective corporate and clinical governance requires the existence of the right policy, structures (e.g. organisational and committee structures), performance framework, reporting mechanisms and clinical activities. An organisational governance review will therefore require a review of these components at the organisational and clinical levels.

In undertaking organisational reviews, we:

* assess the present clinical and corporate governance arrangements in the organisation including structure, policies, risk and performance monitoring, workforce and planning approach and establish a baseline against which improvement can be measured.
* identify more effective, efficient and appropriate approaches for the organisation and the key components of an organisational system.
* provide action plans and recommendations for achieving improved organisational systems and enhanced results.

In undertaking the assessment component Communio conducts data and document reviews, stakeholder interviews and focus groups. A thorough data analysis process then occurs before a process of verification. Consultation with key management occurs during the drafting of the report and recommendations to ensure they are practical, credible and cost effective.
